list_vaults Read-only

List the user's Cyclone file vaults and folder vaults: each vault's name, kind (file/folder), whether it is currently unlocked (mounted/open), its size, and location. A folder vault is an encrypted vault hidden inside a normal folder that mounts over it. Drive vaults/stealth drives are not listed (managed in the Vault panel).

lock_vault Asks first

Lock (unmount) one currently-unlocked Cyclone file vault or folder vault by name so its contents become inaccessible until the user unlocks it with their password. Locking needs NO password — it's the safe direction.

verify_vault_encryption Read-only

Prove that a Cyclone FOLDER vault is genuinely encrypted (read-only): macOS confirms AES-256 encryption via hdiutil, and Cyclone samples the vault's ciphertext for high entropy and the absence of plaintext signatures. The vault must be LOCKED/closed to check it (an open vault shows its decrypted contents). (File vaults and drive/stealth vaults are verified in the Vault panel.)
